Ridgeland Used Appliance LLC’s Limited Warranty Information

Used Appliances (with the exception of Fridges and Freezers) come with a 60-day store warranty with the option to purchase extended warranties at the time of purchase. Anyone located 50+ Miles from our stores will be subject to a Fuel Charge for both Service and Warranty. The exceptions are listed in our store warranty.

New Appliances come with their manufacturer warranties and we offer extended warranties as well.
Scratch & Dent Appliances will come with a 30-day limited store warranty and have optional extended warranties available. Anyone located 50+ Miles from our stores will be subject to a Fuel Charge for both Service and Warranty.
The exceptions are listed in our store warranty.

Store Warranty Exceptions (not covered):
​
Glass, Bearings, Transmissions, Water Pumps (if anything found inside), Shocks, Springs, Suspension Rods, Heating Elements and Fuses (if the lint screen is clogged or venting is clogged or longer than 9 feet in length), Door Locks, Door Switches, Freon (or other coolant). Any damage done to the machine during self-installation (anyone other than Ridgeland Appliance) will NOT be covered under your warranty, and customers will be liable for all parts and service costs to fix their machine. Any warranty calls that are a result of your residence issues (examples: water supply issues, electrical issues, leaky valves/ pipes, clogged pipes) will be charged our FULL service charge fee.

The Store Warranty is considered Void under the following conditions:

If the machine has been taken apart by anyone other than and employee of Ridgeland Used Appliance LLC, if the customer states that the machine has been overloaded or misused (cloths washing machines should never be loaded more than ¾ full of normal mixed loads, and no more than 1/3 full for heavy items like towels or jeans), or if the machine has been damaged.
Customers will be charged the entire service fee charge if they have called in a warranty and the issue is an exception to warranty coverage. You further understand that Ridgeland Used Appliances LLC will take no liability for any damage caused by the machine purchased but will guarantee that the machine is in proper working order and has been tested for defects.

Returns/ Processing Fee’s:

Used Units are subject to a $65 Reprocessing Fee, regardless of leaving the building or not. This fee is for each unit returned (Example: Washer and Dryer set would have a reprocessing fee of $130.00). This Fee will be waived if a machine is returned due to being unfixable under the warranty guidelines. Scratch and Dents and Special Orders are non- refundable.
After 30 Days ALL Sales are Final (except Special Orders) - No Exceptions. Warranties are subject to change.
